Welcome to Juniper Class! We love coming to school and learning new things through our termly topics. Our class teacher is Miss Ripalunga. There are 30 of us in our class and we are all friends with each other! Mrs Hampson helps in our class and she supports our learning. Another member of our class is Barney! He is our class bear. He looks after us in the day and watches us learn!

Every Friday, Barney chooses who he would like to spend the weekend with and then gets to go home with them. He has been on lots of exciting adventures already!

Below are some of the reasons why we love coming to school:

I like school and it’s fun because I like doing all the hard challenges given to us by Miss Ripalunga. (Leo)

Miss Ripalunga reads us lots of different stories in our snack time. (Yasmina)

I like doing Maths because it’s fun! (Lelia)

I love Science because we find out lots of things. (Cora)

I love having Barney for our class teddy! I loved taking him home! (Heather)

I like doing English because we read lots of stories! (Neve)

I think English is awesome because we get to do lots of different writing! (Sid)

In English, I love writing stories and using my adjectives! (Anna)

I like doing PE because it’s fun and we play lots of different games. (Oliver)

I love all of the teachers who help me with my learning! (Edward T)

Molly – I like art because I like using the paints and the different sketching pencils when doing my drawings!

Isabelle – I like playing outside at play times and lunch times with all my friends because we play lots of fun games.

Daanish – I like doing PE because we get to go outside and do races!

Welcome to Oakley Primary Academy

On behalf of the governors, the staff, pupils I would like to welcome you to Oakley Primary Academy. We are friendly village school with exciting times ahead as we continue along our transition of moving towards a primary school with our first year 5 pupils joining us this year. We are a member of the Sharnbrook Academy Federation and work closely with all of the schools within the Federation, as well as other schools and pre-schools in the local area. This enables us to share expertise, good practice and learn and move forward together. The close links we have with the pre-schools enable us to really get to know the pupils and their families before they join the Early Years.

We are proud to be a ‘Values School’. The values we teach are modelled by all of the team and through our teaching of the curriculum. We are a supportive and hardworking team, where all stakeholders are valued and listened to.

At Oakley Primary Academy we deliver the National Curriculum through a creative curriculum so that learning is creative, fun and meaningful. There is a clear progression of skills in each subject to enable children to grow in all areas and be successful, not only in key assessments, but in daily life.

We work very closely with the families of our school and acknowledge the importance of close home/school links. We have an open door policy and there is always someone available if you wish to talk.

I am extremely proud of our school and of all the hard work from our pupils, families, staff, PTA and governors.

If you would like any further information about our school please make contact via the details on this website.
