Welcome to Juniper Class! We love coming to school and learning new things through our termly topics. Our class teacher is Miss Ripalunga. There are 30 of us in our class and we are all friends with each other! Mrs Hampson helps in our class and she supports our learning. Another member of our class is Barney! He is our class bear. He looks after us in the day and watches us learn! Every Friday, Barney chooses who he would like to spend the weekend with and then gets to go home with them. He has been on lots of exciting adventures already!

Below are some of the reasons why we love coming to school:

Juniper class is awesome because we do lots of fun things like Art and English! (Hazel)

We do golden time on a Friday afternoon and I love to play with the K-Nex. (Kabir)

We do running and jumping in PE and lots of other fun stuff. (Maya)

I love lunchtimes because we get delicious lunches and I get to play with my friends. (Sophia)

We have super fun playtimes with our friends and we collect conkers. (Felicity)

I like coming into school so that I can say hello to all the lovely teachers. (Lily)

We have an exciting book corner and all the books are fun to read. My favourite is Elephant Pants. (Jack)

I like doing Maths and Phonics in Juniper class. We use whiteboards sometimes in our lessons. (Megan)

We have lots of fun in Art lessons because we use paints and paintbrushes. (Ivan)

I like snack time because we get to eat fruit that is healthy for you and Miss Ripalunga reads us a story. (Chloe)

Welcome to Oakley Primary Academy

On behalf of the governors, the staff, pupils I would like to welcome you to Oakley Primary Academy. We are friendly village school with exciting times ahead as we begin our journey of being a full primary school this year. We are a member of the Sharnbrook Academy Federation and work closely with all of the schools within the Federation, as well as other schools and pre-schools in the local area. This enables us to share expertise, good practice and learn and move forward together. The close links we have with the pre-schools enable us to really get to know the pupils and their families before they join the Early Years.

We are proud to be a ‘Values School’. The values we teach are modelled by all of the team and through our teaching of the curriculum. We are a supportive and hardworking team, where all stakeholders are valued and listened to.

At Oakley Primary Academy we deliver the National Curriculum through a creative curriculum so that learning is creative, fun and meaningful. There is a clear progression of skills in each subject to enable children to grow in all areas and be successful, not only in key assessments, but in daily life.

We work very closely with the families of our school and acknowledge the importance of close home/school links. We have an open door policy and there is always someone available if you wish to talk.

I am extremely proud of our school and of all the hard work from our pupils, families, staff, PTA and governors.

If you would like any further information about our school please make contact via the details on this website.
