Cadbury's World - Year 5
As part of our summer topic, a New World, we are organising our fabulous finish for the end of term.
The Mayans were thought to have first come across the cocoa bean, and chocolate. To end our topic we will be visiting Cadbury’s World, in Birmingham. We will be learning about how the Mayans used the cocoa bean, watching a 4D show and then taking a trip around the chocolate factory.
We will be going on Tuesday 2nd July. The cost of the trip will be £20.00.
We aim to leave school at 9am and return by the end of the school day, however if we are caught in traffic a text message will be sent out.
Reply slips must be returned by Friday 24th May
While there is no obligation on the part of parents to contribute to the cost of this activity and pupils will not be treated differently according to whether or not their parents make a contribution, the activity will unfortunately not take place if parents are reluctant to give it adequate financial support.
If any parent would prefer to pay in instalments please contact Mrs Wille in the school office. Cheques should be made payable to Sharnbrook Academy Federation.
Your child will need:
